I think this camera with its price category was made for the $700 Sigma 1835f1.8, I don't think a typical user of the $3500 Canon CN-E 24mm would go for a BM camera. Anyhow, yes EF mount is still relevant for manual focus photography, videography. E mount spec is available for licensing _if you are making lenses_. It's not an insurmountable problem for studio shoots, but between the weight and the short battery life, this might not be the best run-and-gun camera.
